Instead, the textured model is still displayed instead of the black and doesn't display weight values in the greyscale I'm used to. Did I mess up settings somewhere? I know I'm in Paint Skin Make sure the brush, paint operation, value, and any other settings you want are set in the Paint Skin Weights Tool.. For example, make sure that the Weight Type drop-down list is set to Skin Weight, and select the Normalize Weights mode you want.. Drag across the skin to paint weights. Yeah that worked and i get black in it. But when when i did that everything got messed up and the object didn't move anymore. Now when i go to paint weight tool it makes the character all white and if i make bind skin > smooth skin to a joint it affects everything. It seems that when i even tuch that tool nothing works like it should.
